About the role

  • Manage the software development team’s people, with the aim of supporting and developing our employees through regular 1:1 sessions and frequent feedback.
  • Facilitate squad ceremonies aligned with the squad’s methodology, such as planning, refinement, retrospectives, etc.
  • Remove impediments for the team.
  • Navigate the company to identify opportunities and key stakeholders for the team’s success.
  • Coordinate initiatives that require one or more teams for the product’s success.
  • Conduct sessions with all types of stakeholders to present recent results, gather feedback/insights, and align on the product roadmap.
  • Build the squad’s vision and mission together with team members.
  • Regularly monitor product and business metrics.
  • Participate in product discovery processes.
  • Contribute to defining the product/squad objectives and key metrics, and regularly communicate these results to stakeholders (OKRs).

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading software development teams for digital products.
  • Experience in process, product or service improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of facilitation techniques and problem-solving methods.
  • Experience working with agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Leadership experience during technology and/or process modernization or migration projects.
  • Points of interest / differentiators:
  • Experience with platform squads.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch / Lucene.
