About the role

  • Act as the primary technical reference on Compensation within the Company‑Owned Retail and B2B squad;
  • Structure the compensation product, governance, and strategy; keep practices and policies up to date and ensure their consistent application;
  • Analyze personnel movement requests in partnership with Business Partners, ensuring alignment with compensation policies, internal equity, and market practices;
  • Design the job architecture and perform job weighting using the Korn Ferry methodology;
  • Ensure salary ranges, pay tables, and compensation models are updated according to market studies to maintain competitiveness and alignment with company strategy;
  • Support the execution of variable compensation for sales and ICP (Incentive Compensation Plans), proposing models, suggesting improvements, implementing, monitoring, and managing monthly/annual closures;
  • Be a reference for market trends and best practices for commercial careers, assessing the need for internal adaptations of best practices;
  • Lead projects/studies on recognition and succession approaches;
  • Work in a squad model with peers, planning and driving projects that involve compensation topics;
  • Identify and propose improvements to area processes and systematize them to make activities faster and more accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in areas related to the role; specialization or postgraduate studies desirable;
  • Solid experience in compensation;
  • Essential experience with fixed and variable compensation for commercial teams, including sales variable compensation and ICP (Incentive Compensation Plans);
  • Experience managing compensation mechanisms — hiring, retention, analysis of salary proposals, etc.;
  • Experience in job evaluation using Hay, Towers and/or Mercer methodologies;
  • Strong track record managing compensation processes, products, and projects in companies recognized for commercial practices of comparable players;
  • Advanced knowledge of Sheets/Excel; knowledge of Google Workspace tools desirable;
  • Desirable experience with Slack or other asynchronous communication tools;
  • Desirable experience with SAP systems;
  • Analytical profile, able to build recommendations and make decisions based on data;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making;
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, leading interactions to build joint solutions with multiple areas and senior stakeholders.
