About the role
- Oversee the entire NRO (New Restaurant Opening) process for exciting new locations
- Develop and continuously refine Wonder's NRO strategy to align with company growth objectives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of new store openings
- Own and manage NRO timelines, budgets, and key milestones
- Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks and operational challenges
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing NRO team
- Establish training programs for NRO managers and trainers
- Analyze post-opening performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
- Oversee supply chain and logistics planning
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality operations
- At least 3+ years leading new store openings or multi-unit expansions
- Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale operational plans in a high-growth environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple openings simultaneously
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities
- In-depth understanding of restaurant operations and food safety regulations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing costs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (50-70%) to oversee new store openings in multiple regions
- Ideally based in or local to the Dallas–Fort Worth area
