About the role

  • Perform general building maintenance;
  • Manage certain building-related, health, and safety projects;
  • Oversee technical maintenance and cleaning of premises at all times;
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as required;
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities on specific projects;
  • Coordinate work on vacant units;
  • Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to ensure proper operation;
  • Efficiently manage all service calls, tenant technical requests, and emergency situations;
  • Handle routine building maintenance and upkeep procedures (pump tests, repairs, preventive maintenance, and other building equipment and technical systems);
  • Supervise tenant move-ins to their apartments;
  • Implement appropriate corrective measures in case of non-compliance to resolve issues;
  • Assist property managers with related tasks.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of building mechanics is an asset;
  • Commitment to providing quality customer service;
  • Ability to build strong relationships with tenants, managers, and other company departments;
  • Energetic, organized, available, resourceful, and autonomous;
  • Manual skills and knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance;
  • Ability to work under pressure and non-standard hours, sometimes exceeding 40 hours per week;
  • Adhere to safe work practices.
