About the role

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, from planning through billing
  • Ensure work planning and monitor ongoing projects (schedule and budget)
  • Coordinate project execution across multiple job sites
  • Supervise the quality of work performed by field technicians
  • Validate and compile test results carried out on site and in the laboratory
  • Review contractors' certificates of compliance planned for use to verify conformity with plans and specifications
  • Draft and approve technical reports
  • Update clients and your supervisor on project progress and maintain excellent customer service
  • Monitor allocated budgets by project
  • Attend project meetings (via Microsoft TEAMS or in person)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years as a licensed professional engineer (OIQ)
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Relevant experience in construction materials control/testing is an asset
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
