About the role

  • Build and evolve AI-powered backend systems that connect conversational AI with website generation, editing, and plugin integrations
  • Design and implement Agentic AI systems using mainly Python, but also NodeJS/TypeScript
  • Integrate with LLM frameworks (e.g. LangChain) to enable intelligent and context-aware automation across the platform
  • Integrate AI Agents to interact with the WordPress ecosystem, ensuring reliability and performance at scale
  • Collaborate closely with the team to deliver smooth, human-like user experiences
  • Continuously improve performance, observability, and security, leveraging monitoring tools and best DevOps practices
  • Experiment, prototype, and learn from exploring new AI frameworks to testing emerging backend technologies
  • Contribute to our engineering culture, sharing insights, best practices, and ideas that push technical boundaries forward

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working with agentic AI systems — from prototyping to development to deployment and ongoing maintenance
  • Solid foundational coding skills in Python and are familiar with TypeScript/NodeJS
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g. pgvector, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
  • Understanding of AI/ML systems and their capabilities and potential integrations
  • Curiosity about Agentic AI, ML algorithms, and asynchronous programming
  • User-centric approach to development, aiming for solutions that are robust, scalable, and intuitive
  • Thriving in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoying working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Eagerness to learn beyond core responsibilities and take ownership of professional growth
