About the role

  • Lead the consumer lifecycle implementation of new DIRECTV products, promotions, offers, and pricing updates.
  • Define and configure more than 200 offer variables for each new offer using the Final Marketing Checklist.
  • Drive the development of system capabilities required to support rating, billing, and promotional logic across multiple platforms.
  • Serve as the primary liaison across Strategy, IT, Engineering, Customer Care/Sales Ops, Legal, and GTM teams to ensure alignment on requirements and execution.
  • Break down business needs into precise technical requirements for IT and technical partners.
  • Guide features from concept through design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams through requirements gathering, development, implementation, validation, and launch.
  • Deliver standard project management documentation including implementation plans, schedules, risk assessments, issues logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Provide weekly leadership readouts on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on DIRECTV and U-verse programming, products, packaging, billing, and ordering systems.
  • Offer consultative guidance to marketing partners to identify solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance and provide ongoing management recommendations to support financial goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational success.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing teams to develop channel enablement and service delivery plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product marketing, product management, or offer execution within telecom, media, or a similar consumer subscription business.
  • DIRECTV and/or U-verse billing or ordering experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, Scrum, GIRA, Amdox, and product lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives impacting multiple organizational units.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as C3, STMS, Enabler, OMS, Online, Salesforce, and front-end ordering platforms.
  • Broad understanding of consumer video and entertainment product portfolios.
