About the role
- Groundswell is seeking a Workday Integration Architect who will be responsible for leading the solutioning, development, and maintenance of HR technology and integration architecture to provide innovative solutions within the Federal Government environments.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and document Workday integration systems using Orchestrate, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment lifecycle.
- Turn customer requirements into integration solution design and architecture decisions.
- Possess solid understanding of the business process, workflows, and data requirements for Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time, and Compensation.
- Partner and build relationships with stakeholders to align on objectives and advance Workday adoption and ease of use.
- Research problems. Identify opportunities and seek opinions and feedback on suggested solutions.
- Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders.
- Lead a team of Integration Consultants to achieve customer deliverables.
Requirements
- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Workday Integrations Certification (Orchestrate for Integrations, Extend, and Studio Certifications are a plus).
- Minimum 7 years total work experience with 5 years’ in HCM, HRIS, or Integrations experience (multiple projects).
- Must have experience leading multiple implementations of Workday (minimum 2), with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience.
- Ability to work with multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Experience translating business requirements into system requirements, including designing, solutioning, and architecting complex integrations.
- Ability to lead a team of consultants to deliver with high quality and achieve customer success.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Great organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate and work productively as part of multiple fully remote and/or hybrid teams.
- Candidate local to the DC metro area.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%).
