About the role

  • Lead the design and review of student materials, teacher guides, and lesson plans to meet defined student learning outcomes.
  • Lead curriculum design for students, teachers, and government across multiple formats (digital and physical).
  • Integrate insights from different thematic areas into the curriculum to enable effective school-to-work transitions.
  • Lead the development of high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable materials for use in schools.
  • Conduct research for each state to ensure content is localized with relevant examples, careers, and implementation guidance.
  • Stay updated on regional education and employment trends, government priorities, and state-level education expectations.
  • Document insights and data to inform curriculum updates and adaptations.
  • Travel regularly to classrooms to observe sessions and understand on-ground realities.
  • Track student learning outcomes and implementation data to assess curriculum effectiveness and make necessary adjustments throughout the year.
  • Attend meetings with government officials and educational boards to understand context and share program design as needed.
  • Implement co-creation workshops with stakeholders to design and develop curriculum.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in education program or curriculum design.
  • Experience in field or desk-based research (preferably in education or career guidance).
  • Ability to design engaging physical and digital materials.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to schools and government offices.
  • Strong communication skills to translate field insights into program adaptations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and at least one of Hindi, Marathi, or Urdu.
  • Prior experience working in classrooms or closely with teachers; strong understanding of classroom realities and student needs.
