People Operations

• Develop and implement a comprehensive issue advocacy and electoral strategy aligned with the organization's mission and goals in the campaign’s core regions (Louisiana, Ohio River Valley, and Texas).
• Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, consultants, and key stakeholders to build an advocacy and electoral strategy that supports the mission of the campaign.
• Work closely with other staff who monitor state and local legislative and political developments, including bills, regulations, and initiatives relevant to the goals of the organization and provide strategic guidance and analysis.
• Promote a culture of organizational compliance, working with the Chief Operations Officer and counsel to ensure that planned activities adhere to any applicable regulations.
• Conduct research and analysis on decision-makers and electoral candidates in our regions to inform the strategic planning of the campaign.
• Advise campaign and communications staff on the creation of issue-based advocacy campaigns, including organizing, mobilization efforts, and voter engagement initiatives.
• Establish, track, and analyze progress toward People Over Pollution’s goals and produce accurate ongoing metrics and dashboards to track goal progress.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop and disseminate compelling messaging and materials related to the electoral and advocacy efforts.
• Provide political analysis and recommendations to the Executive Director, Campaign Director, and other stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

Campaign Strategist

Director

• Develop the strategic direction into a strategic plan with two-year implementation strategies in coordination with coalition co-chairs and leadership.
• The ED will be responsible for establishing and delivering on clear goals, objectives and tactics as established in the strategic plan, and delivering on high-impact campaigns.
• Design and oversee a measurement and evaluation effort to ensure impact, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Adapt to emerging political, cultural, and economic dynamics, ensuring that All In stays relevant, nimble, and responsive.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to add capacity to the field.
• Hire and manage a team of approximately 10 staff with expertise spanning coalition building, international climate diplomacy, communications, campaign management, research, private-public partnerships, and events.
• Oversee all aspects of All In’s internal management and programs, which include both domestic and international workstreams.
• Ensure alignment between All In’s governance and execution.
• Work with assigned staff at All In’s administrative project home to oversee all aspects of organizational operations, including budgeting, fundraising, HR, and legal.
• Manage organizational relationships with consultants, contractors, and technical assistance providers.
• Cultivate and maintain a positive staff culture, supporting staff morale, and making All In a great place to work.
• Model and foster a culture grounded in collaboration and partnership.
• Build and maintain systems for feedback, learning, and continuous improvement across the team and with partners.
• Invest in leadership development, active learning, and skill development.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with key external partners—including co-chairs, city and state networks, international actors, business alliances, academic institutions, and climate organizations—to strengthen coordination and amplify collective impact.
• Engage regularly with senior representatives of member organizations to ensure alignment, partnership health, and shared ownership of the coalition’s strategy and outcomes.
• Lead the development of an external engagement strategy that positions All In as the authoritative voice of U.S. subnational climate leadership.
• Ensure that coalition outputs—reports, events, campaigns, and announcements—reinforce the visibility and credibility of mayors and governors as central drivers of America’s climate leadership.
• Represent All In in dialogues with international partners and networks to showcase the U.S. model of whole-of-society climate action.

Executive Director

• The National Field Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive field operations and political strategy across target congressional districts.
• This position reports directly to the Campaign Manager and Chief of Staff, overseeing coalition building, grassroots organizing, and voter engagement initiatives to support Battleground Alliance's mission
• Battleground Alliance is a multientity campaign committed to strengthening democratic institutions and civic engagement in competitive political environments.
• We work to build coalitions, support grassroots organizing, and voter engagement.
• Design and execute comprehensive voter contact programs including canvassing, relational organizing, texting phone banking, and earned media
• Coordinate with state and local leaders to align field efforts
• Supervise regional and in-state staff
• Support coalition development and partner engagement strategies
• Establish clear performance goals and accountability measures for voter contact, implement data-driven field reporting systems, and adjust field tactics based on data
• Foster collaborative relationships between field operations and other departments
• Collaborate with Battleground Alliance communications team to develop resonant messages that persuade and move targeted voters
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on resource allocation
