About the role

  • Manage aspects of the global sales operation, including tracking key metrics, maintaining CRM systems, and using data to analyse the sales pipeline.
  • Manage tender processes for new business in ANZ, lead internal coordination across the organisation to collect data and information, and craft compelling and persuasive content.
  • Represent Grok at industry conferences and events relevant to the ANZ higher education sector to expand our network, identify leads, and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including events, conferences, research, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospective clients in ANZ, gain a deep understanding of their needs, and strategically present Grok’s solutions to achieve positive outcomes for both Grok and the client.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to drive business growth within the ANZ market and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in international student recruitment and/or a sales or business development role focused on the Australian or New Zealand higher education sector.
  • Deep understanding of the ANZ higher education landscape, including a solid grounding in international student recruitment practices.
  • A talent for fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers within the higher education sector.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in synthesizing information and communicating a well-reasoned and thoughtful position in writing.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in consultative selling, with a focus on listening to prospects, understanding their needs, and crafting tailored strategies that align with their goals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills to effectively interact with clients, executive management, and other team members at Grok.
  • Desire and willingness to be an integral part of a diverse, growing, and busy management team, contributing actively to the organization's success.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
