About the role
- Manages Plasma Supply Chain Operations activities associated with receipt, distribution, storage, and inventory control of raw plasma
- Directs receipt, storage, and distribution of all raw plasma
- Oversees plasma receiving and scheduling activities
- System owner of Warehouse Management System and responsible for driving continuous system and process improvements
- Accountable for a major cold storage logistics operation holding inventories valued between $60M and $150M
- Identifies opportunities for operational efficiencies and drives implementation of changes
- Establishes departmental performance objectives and measurements
- Manages and develops departmental budgets and manages expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, business administration, engineering, or related field
- APICS certifications such as CPIM or CSCP preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Project or technical leadership experience required
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and system processes
- Strong knowledge of cGMP's and other regulatory requirements
