About the role
- Find, negotiate and manage vendors. Support broader organization in sourcing and vendor selection through data-driven analysis and market research
- Analyze company spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Track supplier performance, pricing trends, and contract compliance
- Build and maintain procurement dashboards, reports, and forecasts
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to align purchasing with business needs
- Help design and improve procurement processes, policies, and tools
- Assist with contract reviews, renewals, and negotiations (as needed)
- Support ad-hoc analysis related to supply risk, demand planning, and scaling operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, or analytics
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (SQL or Python is a plus)
- Ability to turn messy data into clear insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
