• ATTENDANCE OF NETWORKING EVENTS; DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN GOOD RELATIONSHIPS WITH OFFICIALS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS, COMPANIES AND TRADE ORGANIZATIONS, AND ATTEND LOCAL AND OUT OF TOWN MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS IN ORDER TO GENERATE SALES FOR THE HOTEL.
• CONDUCT SITE TOURS
• UPKEEP OF CUSTOMER DATABASE VIA HOTEL SALES PRO
• DEVELOP CONTRACTS AND FOLLOW UP WITH CUSTOMERS
• DIRECT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE HOTEL SALES TEAM, PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND MOTIVATION NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT EFFECTIVE SALES AND MARKETING STRATEGIES AND TO MAXIMIZE THE GENERATION OF SALES/REVENUES.
• DEVELOP AND MANAGE THE DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET AND MONITOR SALES ACTIVITIES/PERFORMANCE TO ENSURE SALES MEET OR EXCEED ESTABLISHED PROFIT PLAN AND TO ACCURATELY REPORT VARIANCES/PROJECTIONS TO MANAGEMENT.
• ASSIST THE GENERAL MANAGER IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND UPDATE OF THE HOTEL-LEVEL BUSINESS PLAN TO INCLUDE INPUT ON SALES GOALS AND PLANS THAT SUPPORT THE OVERALL BUSINESS AND SALES STRATEGIES OF THE COMPANY.
• IN COORDINATION WITH GENERAL MANAGER, SERVE AS INTERFACE ON MEDIA RELATED INQUIRIES AND REFER SENSITIVE MATTERS TO THE PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR (AND GM) IF NECESSARY.
• GENERATE REPORTS AS REQUIRED TO MEASURE BUSINESS GENERATED BY THE SALES DEPARTMENT.

Director of Sales

• Oversee the planning and execution of group blocks, catering events, and on-property guest experiences
• Serve as a primary liaison for group and event clients, ensuring seamless communication, accurate administration, exceptional guest experiences, and revenue optimization
• Partner closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, Operations, and culinary teams to deliver flawless, bespoke events that reflect the hotel’s brand standards and service culture
• Manage group room blocks from contract turnover through departure, including rooming lists, cut-off dates, billing coordination, and departmental communication
• Prepare, lead, and distribute group resumes and event meetings to ensure operational alignment and flawless execution
• Conduct post-event follow-up, gather client feedback, and assist with invoicing and billing reconciliation
• Maintain accurate and organized client files, communication logs, and follow-up systems
• Plan and execute wedding catering events from initial planning through on-site execution
• Create, manage, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and event documentation with exceptional attention to detail
• Identify opportunities to upsell catering events and ancillary experiences to maximize revenue, particularly for rooms-only groups

Event Services Manager

• Plan and manage the following functions of the hotel (Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, comp F&B) to achieve customer (guest, employee, corporate and owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals
• Position is responsible for short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the above areas in the hotel
• Develops and recommends the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans
• Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us
• Manage the Human Resources in the group in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication vehicles, discipline and terminate, as appropriate
• Develop, recommend, implement and manage the group's annual budget, business/marketing plan, forecasts and objectives to meet/ exceed management expectations
• Implement company programs (company/franchise), develop local programs and procedures and manage the operations of the group, ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and all other federal, state and local laws and regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and customer satisfaction
• Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
• Comply with emergency organizational procedures and training assigned Departmental Ambassadors to ensure appropriate protection for the hotel quests, staff and company asset
• Promote an accident prevention program to minimize liabilities and related expenses
• Manage the maintenance/sanitation of the front and back of the house to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service and customer satisfaction
• Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in his/her absence

Food & Beverage Manager

Auditor

• The Front Desk Night Auditor is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests.
• Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.
• Check guests in, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns.
• Record guest preferences in the system.
• Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges.
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes in line with hotel procedures.
• Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
• Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
• Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty.
• May routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
