About the role
- Confirmation of receipt of funds from ACH transactions and wires and communication to team members
- Verify and respond to client A/R account balance inquiries prior to releasing payroll batches
- First point of contact for check validation and stop payments, failed direct deposits and trace ID requests
- Daily recording of client payroll invoice payments
- Review daily positive pay exception notifications from multiple banking institutions
- Perform and verify telephone payroll check inquiries
- Maintain an internal project list of active and inactive client projects
- Daily Initiation of ACH transactions from and to client accounts
- Perform other related duties assigned by Operations, Treasury, or Finance
Requirements
- Work experience demonstrating ability to deal with high volumes under pressure
- General understanding of financial and banking transactions
- Knowledgeable with Excel, NetSuite, online banking portals, and Google Workspace
- Accurate with acute attention to detail
- Someone who loves a challenge
- Driven, friendly, approachable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with varying groups of stakeholders
