About the role
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities, managing a balanced pipeline of inbound and self sourced outbound leads with the support of target lists, sales tools, and go-to market enablement.
- Communicate the value of our digital forecasting and solar data solutions through customer meetings, demos, and presentations, while building strong relationships, understanding customer challenges, and positioning the right solutions to meet their needs.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the revenue growth of the Solar Data Products business.
- Represent the business at relevant industry conferences (up to four per year domestically, with optional international travel), supporting networking and lead generation activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and provide clear feedback on customer needs and market insights to support product and go-to market improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records, including customer details, engagement activities, and pipeline status.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to adapt your sales approach effectively.
- This role begins with a one year focus on the Green Data Products line, giving you hands-on experience in a fast growing digital business. After the first year, and based on business needs and your performance, you’ll have opportunities to continue growing within GPM - either in the same team or across other product lines and brands.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial, quota carrying closing role with a strong track record of identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Experience in the energy/renewables sector or the APIs/SaaS industry.
- Hands on experience with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo).
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Brings a positive, high energy attitude, showing curiosity, eagerness to grow, and strong self management to consistently meet or exceed targets.
