About the role

  • Lead and realize growth ambition in the German-speaking market of Power Grids
  • Support the Energy Transition
  • Monitor market developments, analyze new business opportunities
  • Increase market visibility, drive lead generation, lead project bids, and sponsor projects
  • Define and operationalize Power Grids strategy and realize market ambitions
  • Work with other Sales Managers and Key Account Management organization
  • Enable a coordinated market approach and maintain customer focus
  • Support operational delivery teams with setting priorities and defining actions
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in projects and coach consultants and engineers

Requirements

  • Strong skills in business strategy, sales pipeline management, and market analysis, with a focus on advisory services
  • Experience in identifying opportunities, managing bids, and increasing market presence
  • Demonstrated ability to seize and close commercial opportunities and impact business growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in networking and customer engagement, with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps and advisory services in a fast-paced, changing, complex, and ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly understand and analyse complex issues and problems, and to understand market trends and make sound judgments
  • Ability to define market share within own area and set ambitious, realistic targets for growth
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Proven ability to coach/mentor and develop professionals
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusivity to define the best project teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and promote an inclusive culture within the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex issues and manage conflicting priorities

  • In-depth knowledge of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution sector in German-speaking markets
  • Good understanding of the Transmission and Distribution market, in particular related to Grid Utilization, transformation and congestion management, its players, and dynamics
