About the role
- - Review portfolio performance to identify drivers of low ARPU and design interventions that improve customer payment behaviour, product utilisation, and retention.
- - Work closely with sales and customer success teams to implement customer-level interventions addressing payment issues, product usage gaps, or operational constraints.
- - Monitor cohort performance and develop forward-looking insights to guide sales, marketing, and credit strategies.
- - Oversee the design and implementation of field recovery operations to reclaim LPG cylinders and equipment from churned or non-paying customers.
- - Develop efficient recovery playbooks that balance cost management, customer experience, and asset protection.
- - Work with field teams to track recovery KPIs and implement ongoing improvements.
- - Develop simple, scalable underwriting, collections, and repossession processes suited to the PAYG LPG business model.
- - Assist with fraud identification and investigation processes, working closely with field teams to review and resolve incidents.
- - Conduct regular field visits to review processes, address escalations, and guide recovery and credit staff.
- - Track and report on key credit indicators, recovery rates, and portfolio performance metrics.
- - Ensure adherence to company credit policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- - Prepare practical field reports that inform operational adjustments and business planning.
Requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Credit Management, Operations, or a related field.
- - 5+ years of experience in credit risk, field operations, or asset recovery — experience in PAYG, microfinance, or asset leasing models is strongly preferred.
- - Demonstrated experience improving field-based credit performance.
- - Experience working in emerging markets, particularly in rural or peri-urban settings.
