About the role

  • - Review portfolio performance to identify drivers of low ARPU and design interventions that improve customer payment behaviour, product utilisation, and retention.
  • - Work closely with sales and customer success teams to implement customer-level interventions addressing payment issues, product usage gaps, or operational constraints.
  • - Monitor cohort performance and develop forward-looking insights to guide sales, marketing, and credit strategies.
  • - Oversee the design and implementation of field recovery operations to reclaim LPG cylinders and equipment from churned or non-paying customers.
  • - Develop efficient recovery playbooks that balance cost management, customer experience, and asset protection.
  • - Work with field teams to track recovery KPIs and implement ongoing improvements.
  • - Develop simple, scalable underwriting, collections, and repossession processes suited to the PAYG LPG business model.
  • - Assist with fraud identification and investigation processes, working closely with field teams to review and resolve incidents.
  • - Conduct regular field visits to review processes, address escalations, and guide recovery and credit staff.
  • - Track and report on key credit indicators, recovery rates, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • - Ensure adherence to company credit policies and relevant regulatory standards.
  • - Prepare practical field reports that inform operational adjustments and business planning.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Credit Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • - 5+ years of experience in credit risk, field operations, or asset recovery — experience in PAYG, microfinance, or asset leasing models is strongly preferred.
  • - Demonstrated experience improving field-based credit performance.
  • - Experience working in emerging markets, particularly in rural or peri-urban settings.
