About the role
- Owning and shaping the performance of our credit portfolio.
- Defining the strategies that balance growth, risk, and profitability.

- Aligning credit strategy with Finance, Product, Sales, and Underwriting.
- Ensuring analytics and data teams deliver business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in credit risk with direct ownership of portfolio performance
- 3+ years in a director-level or higher leadership role
- Strong experience in small business lending, alternative finance, or non-prime environments preferred
- Proven success in making pricing and credit decisions with measurable business impact
- Experience operating at an executive level with clear cross-functional influence
- Deep expertise in portfolio management, pricing strategy, and unit economics
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, credit policy design, and segmentation
- Ability to interpret and challenge analytical outputs without direct model ownership
- Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL and BI tools for data interpretation
- Familiarity with credit decisioning systems, data vendors, and fraud tools.
