About the role
- Proactive new customer acquisition in the cybersecurity space and consistent expansion of your sales territory (North & East or South)
- Build and continuously develop a strong sales pipeline through targeted lead generation, networking and direct customer outreach.
- Independently manage the entire sales cycle — from initial contact and needs analysis to consultation and successful contract closing.
- Position our cybersecurity solutions as a business-critical value add for companies and their security strategies.
- Deliver compelling product and solution presentations, workshops and consulting sessions — remotely and regularly on-site at customer locations.
- Build resilient relationships with CISOs, IT leaders, security officers and other management-level decision-makers.
- Work closely with presales, marketing and partners to translate complex security requirements into successful deals.
- Actively represent the company at industry events, security conferences and trade shows to generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in B2B sales of complex, consultative solutions, ideally in the cybersecurity, IT or software space.
- Proven track record in new customer acquisition and in building your own sales pipelines.
- A clear hunter mentality: you proactively approach new customers and enjoy developing new business opportunities.
- Understanding of IT security requirements, compliance topics and modern security architectures.
- Experience selling complex solutions such as security, software, SaaS or cloud products.
- Structured, goal-oriented working style and strong closing skills.
- Confident use of CRM systems and modern sales tools to manage opportunities and forecasts.
- Persuasive communication, presentation and negotiation skills at the decision-maker/executive level.
- Excellent German language skills and good English skills for collaboration in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region to meet customers in person and build long-term relationships.
