• Manage the day-to-day operations of allocated construction sites
• Plan and coordinate site activities for safe and efficient project delivery
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Allocate labour and resources to meet programme requirements
• Monitor productivity, programme progress and programme risks
• Promote health and safety and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and relevant legislation
• Deliver site inductions, daily briefings and Toolbox Talks
• Conduct safety inspections, site audits and maintain site records
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed in schools and public environments
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and client requirements
• Monitor workmanship, conduct quality inspections, manage defects, snagging and handovers
• Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate specialist contractors
• Plan material requirements, coordinate deliveries and manage plant and equipment
• Act as primary site contact for clients and attend progress meetings
• Liaise with schools, local authorities and stakeholders
• Assist Project Managers with progress reporting, variations, additional works, labour tracking, plant utilisation and material usage
• Identify efficiency improvements and report commercial risks
• Maintain accurate site, progress, labour, plant, delivery, quality, photographic, as-built and health and safety documentation
• Deliver Sustainable Drainage Systems and associated civil engineering works across Northern England
