Accounts Payable

• Responsible for all accounting work necessary to ensure accounts payable are processed in a timely manner
• Responsible for accurate coding and voucher entry of vendor invoices into accounting system based on services provided, life cycle stage of the project and other determining factors
• Review of all invoices for appropriate documentation & approvals prior to payment
• Maintain Accounts Payable electronic files and storage
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Assist in month end closing and accrual process
• Assist in annual external audits
• Perform analytical and ad hoc reporting as required
• Work with internal and external customers regarding account inquiries
• Ensure compliance with internal controls in accordance with policy
• Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing of AP transactions
• Assist with weekly pay run processes
• Assist with other projects as needed
