About the role

  • The Director of EPC provides end-to-end leadership for the delivery of distributed energy projects including Solar + Storage, Standalone BESS, Microgrids, and CHP.
  • Accountable for hiring, developing a project management team to evaluate execution strategies, governing delivery risk, developing key EPC partnerships for successful delivery of bankable projects for long-term ownership.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (including commercial, development, O&M) and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, reliably, on time, and on budget.
  • Oversee onsite construction managers on key projects and own CAPEX deployment timing, cashflow alignment, cost discipline, and compliance with third-party financing requirements.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years leading EPC execution for distributed energy projects with multiple CODs delivered.
  • Experience with Solar, BESS, Microgrids, and CHP, particularly for high-reliability BTM customers.
  • Strong EPC contract, cost, schedule, and risk governance experience.
  • Familiarity with third-party financing and IE requirements.
  • HSEQ leadership and utility/AHJ coordination experience.
  • Tools: P6/MS Project, Procore (or equivalent), Salesforce/SiteTracker.
  • Bachelor’s in engineering or construction management; PMP/OSHA-30 preferred, PE a plus.
