About the role

  • Location: Remote US Based- Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest
  • Job Summary: We are seeking a driven, compassionate Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience practicing law in a law firm environment.
  • In this role, approximately 80% of your time will be focused on client service attorney work, ensuring clients receive the highest level of support and communication throughout their Social Security Disability case.
  • Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, clear, and empathetic communication throughout the case process.
  • Review case files, medical summaries, and legal briefs prepared by support staff, making edits as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys on case strategy and development.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Stay current on Social Security Disability law and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct occasional pre-hearing client calls and assist with hearing preparation.
  • Participate in training and professional development to expand into brief writing and hearing representation over time.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in any U.S. state Minimum of one year of experience practicing law in a law firm. Prior professional experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or client-facing roles before attending law school. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases Compassionate and dedicated to helping others Proficiency with video conferencing technology and other relevant software

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
