About the role

  • Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs, and licensing/procurement deals.
  • Assist in contract lifecycle management, including tracking key terms, obligations, and renewals.
  • Support the proposal and RFP process with timely input on contractual and risk-related matters.
  • Compliance & Legal Risk: Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal policies on data privacy, anti-bribery, competition, and third-party risk.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to support compliance with global standards (GDPR, CCPA, UK Bribery Act, FCPA, etc.).
  • Manage and refine internal training materials and compliance documentation.
  • Legal Operations & Governance: Conduct legal research and provide support on ad hoc matters, including corporate filings and IP issues.
  • Liaise with external counsel in the U.S., UK, and other jurisdictions on compliance and contract-related issues.
  • Maintain and organize legal templates and knowledge management tools.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) with U.S. bar admission
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house environment
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in commercial agreements
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance topics such as data privacy, anti-bribery, or competition
  • Experience in legal research, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration
  • CTIPS Certification preferred
