About the role
- Analyze, review, and draft construction related contracts
- Provide contract support for standard corporate agreements
- Provide legal guidance to corporate leadership
- Identify emerging project risks and mitigate exposure
- Assist with the legal needs of the Company
- Provide internal support to outside counsel for litigation support
- Provide legal support relating to corporate formation and formalities
- Provide training on legal, business, and risk management topics
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school required
- Active law license required (Kentucky state bar licensure is a plus)
- Minimum of five years of experience as a licensed and practicing attorney
- Construction law experience
- Strong initiative, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Ability to analyze, review, and draft contracts
- Versatility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
