About the role
- Drive targeted outbound outreach to higher education institutions via email, phone, and social media
- Personalize outreach using industry insights tailored to stakeholders in Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Services, IT and other key departments
- Partner with Account Executives to align on territory plans, prioritize accounts, and continuously refine outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver regular reporting on outreach volume, conversion rates, and pipeline sources
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging and ensure alignment with campaigns and webinars
- Maintain detailed records to report weekly on outreach activities, conversions, and pipeline contribution
- Stay informed on higher ed trends, institutional budgets, and enrollment challenges to better position Ivy.ai’s value
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a sales development, BDR, or similar outbound-focused role (SaaS or higher education experience preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach to outreach
- High level of curiosity, coachability, and grit
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong Engage, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
