About the role
- Own People Operations with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism
- Apply a continuous-improvement mindset to People Operations - using data, tooling, and emerging technologies to simplify workflows
- Explore and apply AI-enabled tools and automation thoughtfully across HR processes
- Handle complex or sensitive situations with calm judgment, fairness, and clarity
- Maintain People policies, records, and processes that are audit-ready, scalable
- Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, or gaps in People practices and take ownership of improving them
- Lead and deliver hiring with energy, pace, and high standards
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
- Partner closely with leaders, challenging thinking where needed
- Act as a visible, trusted People partner for US-based employees
- Contribute pragmatically to engagement, wellbeing, and manager-enablement initiatives
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with US employment law (federal, state, and local)
- Proven ability to drive measurable performance improvements across multiple functions.
- Experience working in high-growth environments (tech/SaaS preferred)
- Curiosity about modern, innovative approaches to People Operations and Talent, including the practical use of AI and automation to improve workflows
- Confidence using data, tools, and systems to improve hiring quality and People processes
- Proven experience delivering hands-on recruitment, including outbound hiring
- Sound judgment and professionalism in employee relations and sensitive situations
- Strong written communication skills and comfort creating clear, scalable documentation.
- A pragmatic, calm, and collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership
