About the role
- Oversee the full contracting process, ensuring timely, accurate execution of sales contracts from initiation to completion.
- Ensure precise data entry of contracts and pricing information into the contract management system, driving continuous progress through the workflow.
- Maintain and track all contracts and broker documents across platforms, ensuring accessibility and organization.
- Assist in the integration of new products and process improvements with a focus on ensuring contract administration aligns with evolving business strategies.
- Interpret and ensure accurate implementation of contract terms, ensuring all obligations are met and contractual language is clear.
- Regularly update and maintain sales contract templates to ensure they are up to date and compliant with best practices.
- Identify potential risks, ambiguities, and areas for improvement in contracts to protect the business and foster long-term relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of contracts, amendments, and renewals, ensuring accurate reporting, retrieval, and audit readiness.
- Assist in managing the approval process for contract modifications and renewals, including handling redlines and revisions with precision.
- Work closely with legal, sales, and finance teams, identifying areas where contracts fail to align with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular updates to internal teams (Sales Operations, Commercial Legal, Operations) as well as external customers, ensuring all parties are informed throughout the process.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline contract management workflows, enhancing efficiency across the team.
- Generate insightful reports on contract status and performance metrics to support sales and leadership decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with brokers, confirming fee structures and verifying payments.
- Collect and verify critical broker documentation, including agency licenses and signed referral agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex information.
- Effective cross-functional communicator across multiple lines of business
- Previous experience in contract administration or a related field (extra credit).
- Familiarity with Agiloft or other contract lifecycle management software (extra credit).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software (extra credit).
- Experience working with legal or compliance teams (extra credit).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to contract law (extra credit).
