Vice President

• Serve as the credit specialist for the RMs to help drive loan growth across GHBs suite of loan products to help drive new business growth. This includes recommending appropriate credit structure to meet the borrower’s need while maintaining the Bank’s credit risk profile.
• Lead the review and analysis of prospective client performance and debt needs and coordinate with Grasshopper credit team to assess credit strength of new debt opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with prospective borrowers, Relationship Managers, existing clients and other constituents both inside and outside the bank.
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of existing borrowers and identifying deviations from agreed upon performance covenants. Utilize observations to proactively raise credit concerns to the Relationship Manager to mitigate credit risk where appropriate.
• Conduct financial analysis of the credit and collateral for new and existing borrowers, with emphasis on historical trend analysis and financial forecasting.
• Test financial covenants and other risk assessments based on the Loan & Security Agreement as needed.
• Utilize bank loan systems to input financial information, prepare financial analysis and produce comprehensive management reports/summaries as required.
• Communicate with clients, Relationship Managers, and bank leadership to resolve loan issues or questions.
• Assist RMs in the collection of covenant reporting information and payment collection. The ultimate responsibility for obtaining financial disclosure and loan payment lies with the RM, since they own the relationship.
• Candidate must be comfortable working with AI based underwriting and analysis software.

• Work cross-functionally with data engineers, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to generate models and scorecards that minimize risk and support business goals.
• Conduct exploratory data mining and analysis to understand customer behavior, experience, engagement, and uncover opportunities.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data, outcomes, and platforms used in modeling.
• Champion data-driven strategy and decision making.
• Build and implement scorecards for KYC, Fraud, Credit, and Risk.
• Ensure work complies with validation and governance requirements.

Operations

• Act as the primary operational point of contact for BaaS partners and internal teams. You will drive the resolution of complex operational, technical, and payment inquiries, ensuring processes execute accurately and efficiently. You will manage urgent client requests and ensure compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Assist in the implementation of new BaaS programs, including testing and operational readiness for partner launches as needed.
• Work cross-functionally communicating with key teams, including Embedded Finance, Risk/Compliance, Client Services, and Product.
• Serve as the designated escalation point for all complex operational issues. You will manage and resolve payment exceptions, returns, recalls, and treasury service issues, including customer disputes such as Regulation E claims.
• Analyze workflows and performance data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy within the BaaS ecosystem.
• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all BaaS operational processes. Ensure operational activities align with Reg E, NACHA, and other applicable frameworks.

Client Services Representative

• You’ll act as the face of Grasshopper in managing our clients’ questions or concerns in order to provide both an effortless banking and a seamless resolution experience. Your role will primarily be to shepherd our clients through the onboarding, account opening, and account management processes. Additionally, it will focus on providing ongoing support for our ancillary product and service offerings, as well as strengthening the client’s overall relationship with the bank.
• Communication and Service skills are paramount in this role as you’ll be expected to collaborate across departments including Banking, Operations, Technology, and Risk and Compliance, to assist with the development of and adherence to best practices for our team and our clients.
• Responsibilities include:
• Act as a primary point-of-contact for clients across a wide range of organizational profiles such as Consumers or Businesses
• Log, dispatch, and resolve client requests according to defined processes
