About the role
- Lead the company’s financial compliance and SOX program
- Oversee SOX compliance program to ensure strong internal control
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over financial reporting
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and business leaders for SOX walkthroughs
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices
- Provide training and guidance on SOX requirements
- Integrate compliance and internal control into system implementations
- Drive process improvements in compliance activities
- Prepare and present SOX program updates to senior leadership
- Promote a culture of accountability and integrity across departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or audit
- Minimum of 3–5 years managing or leading SOX compliance
- Experience coordinating with internal and external auditors
- Background in public accounting or internal audit preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
