About the role
- Develop comprehensive style guides and content briefs tailored to each client, encompassing audience insights, tone of voice, and keyword strategies.
- Establish and maintain an editorial content calendar for full management projects, overseeing projects from conceptualization through post-launch assessment.
- Assign and oversee content requests for freelance writers, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with copyright and privacy regulations.
- Meticulously edit and proofread content for accuracy, coherence, grammar, style, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Assist the Manager, Digital Content in recruiting and onboarding new freelance talent, and ensuring prompt compensation for completed projects.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams—including marketing, design, and SEO—to craft cohesive content strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate project records to ensure efficient workflow and project tracking.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, adopting best practices and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance content quality and efficacy.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a digital copywriter, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading, supported by a diverse portfolio of digital copy samples.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, encompassing SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients, and translating complex concepts into digestible content.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications.
- Experience working with large freelance networks.
- Travel writing experience.
- Bi/multilingual.
- Functional understanding of HTML.
