About the role

  • Develop comprehensive style guides and content briefs tailored to each client, encompassing audience insights, tone of voice, and keyword strategies.
  • Establish and maintain an editorial content calendar for full management projects, overseeing projects from conceptualization through post-launch assessment.
  • Assign and oversee content requests for freelance writers, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with copyright and privacy regulations.
  • Meticulously edit and proofread content for accuracy, coherence, grammar, style, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Assist the Manager, Digital Content in recruiting and onboarding new freelance talent, and ensuring prompt compensation for completed projects.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams—including marketing, design, and SEO—to craft cohesive content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project records to ensure efficient workflow and project tracking.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, adopting best practices and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance content quality and efficacy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a digital copywriter, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
  • Demonstrable expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading, supported by a diverse portfolio of digital copy samples.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, encompassing SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients, and translating complex concepts into digestible content.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications.
  • Experience working with large freelance networks.
  • Travel writing experience.
  • Bi/multilingual.
  • Functional understanding of HTML.
