About the role

  • Participate in a 4-week paid training program to learn essential selling skills.
  • Hybrid work schedule permitting two remote workdays per week after training.
  • Manage a book of 100+ mid-size customer accounts associated with 1-2 industries.
  • Source and prioritize new sales opportunities through outbound phone calls and email.
  • Meet daily outbound call expectations and monthly sales goals; grow revenue using Grainger products, services, and technology.
  • Report to the Manager of Inside Sales; work in a team-oriented sales-center environment.
  • Role includes uncapped commission opportunity and performance-based earnings.
  • Start date for this position will be 2025-10-06.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Comfort spending 50% or more of the day working with customers over the phone
  • Experience with a customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce, is a plus
