About the role
- Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory in customer accounts helping customers save time and money
- Use Grainger network to collaborate within multiple teams to achieve results
- Implement Leader Plan which includes assessing and prioritizing, coaching and teaching, hiring top talent
- Promote great team member engagement, support team member development
- Manage projects by allocating resources ensuring return on investment and profitability
- Understand market conditions and trends and customer requirements to provide appropriate direction and guidance to the broader organization
- Ensure the right solutions and resources are being offered/deployed to customers
- Ensure excellent customer survey satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- 5+ years' manufacturing or industrial business experience with direct leadership experience
- Understanding of financial and economic concepts
- Experience leading in a matrixed environment
- Experience building and working within different teams
- Strength in process improvement, ownership and control and project management
- Experience leading and working towards goals with a remote team
- Ability to be in the field in the Sacramento area three days a week coaching your team.
