• The Tax Senior Associate will be a pivotal member of our tax team, providing leadership and expertise in delivering high-quality tax preparation services to our clients.
• This role requires a strong foundation in US taxation principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to lead and deliver high-quality output while working remotely or in a hybrid work environment.
• Prepare US individual tax returns (Form 1040).
• Review complex returns and make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities; gain increasing responsibility in review process.
• Identify technical issues in various projects and present senior personnel in the tax team with appropriate suggestions to mitigate the same.
• Prepare templates to document tax related data post collecting relevant information from senior personnel in the tax team.
• Research and develop knowledge of current tax legislation across different states in USA complex tax issues to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide technical support on complex projects to senior personnel in the tax team.
• Maintain the quality of tax-related data by regularly monitoring the database and following up with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing content for training and provide on-the job training to new employees.
• Supervise, train, and mentor interns on tax projects and provide performance feedback to staff as needed.

• Assist with or direct the set-up, organization, and maintenance of client files
• Analyze and validate accuracy of client documents; extract and summarize relevant information
• Conduct market and industry research using a variety of resources
• Performance of financial modeling and analysis
• Apply business valuation approaches and methods to a variety of tangible and non-tangible assets including equity valuations
• Prepare supporting documents for valuation and litigation cases
• Assist with compiling, analyzing and documenting facts for matters in litigation
• Assist in drafting reports and findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits and charts
• Assist in proofing schedules, calculations, work papers, reports, and other documents
• Frequent phone, email or in-person communication with clients
• Assist with the professional development of other staff members
• Attend and participate in various marketing events
