About the role
- Take inventory of all existing data sources (HubSpot, Alchemer, LMS, spreadsheets, Google Drive).
- Clean and organize existing data so it is accurate, consistent, and usable.
- Establish clear data structures, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for data collection, storage, updates, and access.
- Build simple, sustainable systems that match how staff actually work.
- Design and manage reliable data collection processes across programs.
- Ensure GPS is consistently collecting required data and meeting internal and external timelines.
- Monitor data quality and address gaps or inconsistencies.
- Manage data-related funder reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare accurate, organized reports and summaries for funders and partners.
- Train staff on data tools, SOPs, and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related questions.
Requirements
- Experience managing data operations in nonprofits, healthcare-adjacent organizations, public programs, or community-based settings.
- Demonstrated experience cleaning up and organizing messy or fragmented data systems.
- Experience developing SOPs and operational workflows.
- Comfort working across CRMs, survey tools, spreadsheets, and learning platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written communication skills, especially for non-technical and funder audiences.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of data systems.
- Experience with HubSpot and Alchemer strongly preferred.
