About the role
- Conduct needs assessments, audience analysis, and task analysis to identify performance gaps and define the most effective learning approaches.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and SMEs to understand business challenges and translate them into targeted learning solutions.
- Perform independent research to anticipate learner needs, validate findings, and ensure instructional accuracy—especially for technical, engineering, or manufacturing content.
- Develop high‑quality eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond.
- Design engaging instructor-led training (ILT) sessions (facilitator guides, participant guides, activities).
- Design engaging virtual instructor-led training (VILT) experiences using virtual platforms and interactive strategies.
- Write compelling creative content (scripts, scenarios, simulations, case studies, assessments).
- Create learning assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Audition, etc.) to elevate design quality.
- Use multimedia, animation, and storytelling to make technical content digestible and engaging.
- Research and evaluate emerging instructional technologies, methods, and innovative approaches.
- Explore and apply AI-driven tools for content generation, media creation, and learning enhancement.
- Continuously bring forward creative ideas, new formats, and design improvements.
- Use rapid content development tools (Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Lectora, Vyond) to build polished courseware.
- Architect learning solutions that include simulations, practice activities, animations, decision trees, and knowledge checks.
- Ensure learning materials are instructionally sound, accessible, visually appealing, and technically robust.
- Facilitate virtual and in‑person design sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative cross‑functional team.
- Manage projects efficiently—anticipate challenges, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning science, and adult learning theory.
- Proficiency with:
- Articulate Storyline
- Articulate Rise
- Vyond
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated experience designing both:
- Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
- Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)
- Ability to translate complex technical, engineering, or manufacturing concepts into clear, engaging learning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Creative thinker with strong writing and storytelling abilities.
