About the role
- Build, test, and ship full-stack features across GovWell’s platform — from intuitive resident-facing interfaces to scalable backend services that power government workflows.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to translate customer needs into usable, high-impact product functionality.
- Take ownership of product areas end-to-end, ensuring features are reliable, maintainable, and performant in real-world government environments.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and best practices that strengthen the team’s engineering culture and velocity.
- Use customer feedback and product data to iterate quickly, improving both resident experiences and government efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience building applications for enterprises and/or consumers.
- Strong preference for candidates who have worked in high-growth startup environments.
- Excited about building applications with the latest AI models and leveraging AI to enhance personal developer workflows.
- Experience owning large product areas + features end-to-end.
- Strong product mindset: you love to ask questions and deeply understand customer problems.
