About the role

  • Provide strategic oversight for the integrated service delivery of diverse and complex social programs for the North Zone.
  • Manage Income Support (IS), career and employment services, Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) and Child Support Services.
  • Ensure consistency of program service delivery to clients and guide a significant shift in culture.
  • Build significant cross-ministry, internal and external stakeholder relationships to manage issues.

Requirements

  • Significant senior management experience overseeing complex front-line social service programs within a large public-sector environment.
  • Strong financial management expertise, supported by a solid understanding of citizen‑centred service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex program initiatives, fostering effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ensuring program, policy, and financial compliance, and building high‑performing teams.
  • Knowledge of social programs and service delivery is considered an asset.
  • A related degree in social or health sciences, business, or public policy is preferred.
