About the role
- Supports the Ministry’s corporate planning, reporting and enterprise risk management functions.
- Develops, coordinates, and publishes the ministry’s Business Plan and Annual Report.
- Researches complex, sensitive issues and provides high-quality briefing material, presentations, and reports.
- Leads the Ministry’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process, including conducting semi-annual risk reviews.
Requirements
- University graduation in Public Administration, Business, Economics, Social Sciences (or a related field) plus 4 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.
- Experience in strategic and business planning and reporting processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the Alberta health system and relevant legislation.
- Experience in performance and risk management frameworks within a public sector environment.
- Strong research and analysis experience, and proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise briefing materials, reports, and recommendations.
