About the role
- Provide high quality interpretive and visitor services to the general public
- Present scheduled interpretive programs such as films and demonstrations
- Lead guided tours
- Deliver education programs and children’s activities
- Plan and deliver children’s science day camps
- Provide general oil sands information to visitors
- Answer visitor questions
- Collect admission fees and visitor statistics
Requirements
- High School Diploma or greater
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Confident, creative presentation skills and/or desire to acquire skills in a supportive setting
- Experience providing high-quality customer service to the general public
- Experience working with children ages 4-12 in an organized program setting
- Ability to work within a small team environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings
- Basic computer skills
