About the role
- Coordinate and administer the design and construction of the Region's bridge construction.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and timely delivery of the projects by consultants and contractors.
- Review functional planning studies, bridge inspection and assessment reports.
- Prepare the Terms of Reference within the required schedule for the project.
- Schedule and attend construction pre-commencement meetings.
- Complete construction site inspections to ensure project compliance.
Requirements
- University graduation in Engineering plus five (5) years related experience in bridge and/or materials engineering.
- Eligibility for membership in APEGA.
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent.
- Additional related education will be considered in lieu of experience on a one-for-one basis.
