About the role

  • Responsible for leading an engineering team and ensuring consistent delivery, operational effectiveness, and team growth
  • People Leadership — You will take full ownership of people management, including coaching, career development, 1:1s, and guiding team members through priority shifts with clear and consistent communication
  • Delivery & Execution — You will oversee delivery across projects and operational work, ensuring priorities are clear, progress is visible, and commitments are met in an agile environment
  • Operational Excellence — You will drive shared responsibility for deployments, monitoring, incident handling, and failure analysis, continuously improving the team’s operational maturity
  • Stakeholder Partnership — You will work closely with architects, product managers, project managers, and senior stakeholders to design solutions, make prioritization decisions, and translate complex technical topics into clear outcomes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a people manager or engineering team lead
  • 3+ years of hands‑on software development experience, including Java
  • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum and/or Kanban)
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise‑level software products
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
