About the role
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, referrals, and networking
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with company growth goals
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls, meetings, and presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Understand client needs and propose appropriate products or services
- Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales process
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding or account management teams
- Support proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
- Accurately track leads, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems
- Monitor conversion rates and sales performance metrics
- Meet or exceed individual and team targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Provide insights to leadership to help refine sales strategies and offerings
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on campaigns and initiatives
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills
- Comfortable working toward performance targets and KPIs
- Proficiency with CRM systems, email tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales (industry-specific experience a plus)
- Experience working in a fast-growing or target-driven environment
