About the role
- GoodParty.org mission: make people matter more than money in our democracy; AI-powered platform providing free tools to independent candidates.
- Research and craft compelling, conversion-focused copy in partnership with growth marketers, designers, and product leads.
- Write and optimize landing pages, email campaigns, and digital ads to drive signups, feature adoption, and other key conversion goals.
- Contribute to internal learning by testing messaging variations, generating strong headline and copy options, and providing data-backed recommendations.
- Produce messaging briefs for new feature releases and collaborate closely with stakeholders for product alignment.
- Analyze performance metrics to inform iterative improvements and future campaigns.
Requirements
- You’re up for the audacious challenge of transforming our democracy for Good.
- 7+ years’ experience in conversion copywriting for product-focused campaigns, with a proven track record in landing pages, email marketing, and ad copy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Numbers-driven; rely on performance metrics to demonstrate impact.
- Expertise in paid media channels (including Google and Meta) and understanding of audience differences across platforms.
- A workflow that upholds quality standards and ensures copy adheres to brand guidelines.
- Leverage AI tools in the writing process and continually test AI for leverage.
- Utilize user research and audience analysis to deepen targeting and messaging effectiveness.
- Ability to create consistent, high-quality content for diverse audiences across political ideologies, identities, and locations.
