About the role

  • Serve as a strategic partner for a portfolio of high-growth tech startups.
  • Develop IP strategies for leading tech startups.
  • Work with startup founders, product owners and engineers to protect their key innovations.
  • Manage the IP portfolio of startups and coordinate external attorneys.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified patent attorney (US, EPO and/or Germany).
  • Significant experience in semiconductors, physics and electronics.
  • Professional fluency in German and English.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • You are pragmatic, proactive, and capable of explaining complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
  • An uncompromising eye for detail without losing sight of the "big picture" business objectives.
  • You are a good communicator. You can put your ideas into words.
