- The Role
- Define and communicate the long-term technical vision and roadmap in alignment with company strategy.
- Partner with product, design, and data leaders to ensure engineering efforts accelerate business impact and user value.
- Build and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering organization, nurturing leaders and teams to thrive in a culture of ownership and innovation.
- Drive architectural decisions and infrastructure evolution to support a secure, resilient, and mobile-first platform.
- Champion modern engineering practices, including agile development, platform observability, and data-informed decision-making.
- Serve as a key voice in cross-company strategy discussions, advocating for technical opportunities and trade-offs.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning, inclusion, and excellence across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- What We Are Looking For:
- Proven success as a Director of Engineering or equivalent leadership role in a B2B SaaS or edtech company.
- Strong track record of scaling platforms and engineering organizations through rapid growth.
- Expertise in infrastructure, architecture, and building cross-platform, mobile-first applications.
- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable, measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading agile, product-focused teams that deliver high-quality solutions at pace.
- Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations and API ecosystems is highly valuable.
