About the role
- Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to architect, develop and operate our cloud-based microservices platform.
- Architect, build and maintain highly scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure.
- Produce high-quality, testable code and actively contribute to code reviews and pair programming.
- Drive platform-wide architectural improvements and technical decisions.
- Investigate production issues, optimize system performance and ensure high quality and availability.
- Mentor team members, share best practices and promote a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 5+ years of programming experience in large scale distributed systems, with minimum 3 years experience with Node.js
- Several years of experience with AWS Serverless services
- Experience with React.js workflows, such as Flux or Redux
- Hands-on experience building infrastructure as code using YAML / CloudFormation / Terraform / GitHub
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies
