About the role
- Own product design end to end for your product area. Take ideas from an ambiguous problem into first shipped version quickly, make strong calls, and iterate in-market.
- Work as a true partner to Product, Engineering, and Content teams. Shape problem definition collaboratively, and push on scope, tradeoffs, and sequencing to maximize impact.
- Move fast without sacrificing quality. Ship early, refine often, and know when “good enough” is right vs. when polish truly matters.
- Set and uphold a high bar for visual and interaction quality. Make deliberate design decisions rooted in experience, usability, and brand.
- Use research and data when it’s useful. Talk to users, test concepts, and translate insights into clear design direction, without slowing momentum.
- Create prototypes to help refine ideas and champion/evangelize product features internally.
- Lead design in new product areas where structure is missing. Create clarity, systems, and direction where none exist.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs for consumer products.
- Proven track record of designing products that drive habitual user engagement.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional organization and project management skills
- Ability to take ownership of projects, and drive design solutions from start to finish while keeping teams aligned.
