About the role

  • Deliver support and tactical people management interventions
  • Interface with operational line leadership and teams to deliver HR support in relation to Talent Management, Employee Relations, Attendance Management, Talent Acquisition, Leadership and Change initiatives
  • Engage with business to define and compile workforce planning schedules/labour requirements
  • Refine and maintain workforce planning standards and norms
  • Maintain regular workforce planning, strength/vacancy analysis and availability reports
  • Advise and assist line leaders to develop and source appropriate employee development interventions

Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualified with a degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
  • Intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Human Resources Information Systems knowledge and experience
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a HR environment, preferably in the mining industry
  • Medically fit for the position and environment
